About the Book
Becoming Brianna is a heartwarming and relatable middle grade novel about the power of friendship, embracing change, and finding your voice. When Brianna and Emmy first meet, they couldn't be more different. Brianna is outgoing and popular, while Emmy is shy and introverted. But despite their differences, they quickly become best friends. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of middle school, including mean girls, first crushes, and changing friendships.
When Brianna decides to run for class president, Emmy is there to support her every step of the way. But as Brianna's campaign gains momentum, Emmy starts to feel left behind. She's not sure if she can handle the pressure of being in the spotlight, and she's worried that their friendship will be damaged if Brianna wins.
Emmy must learn to embrace her own unique voice and find the courage to stand up for what she believes in. Becoming Brianna is a powerful story about the importance of friendship, the challenges of change, and the power of finding your own voice.
